Starting therapy often comes with practical questions. This page covers common topics such as appointments, payment, and how therapy works. If anything is unclear or you’d like to ask a specific question, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, blending both cognitive (top-down) and somatic (bottom-up) methods. That means we’ll work not only with your thoughts and behaviors, but also with how your body carries stress, pain, and trauma. This mind-body integration helps create deeper and longer-lasting healing. My practice is also trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming.
Yes. I offer a 20-minute consultation so you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a sense of whether we’re a good fit before starting therapy together.
Both. I see clients in person at my office in Beverly Hills, CA, and I also provide online therapy for all residents of California and New York.
I do not accept insurance directly. However, I partner with Mentaya, a service that makes it easier for you to use your out-of-network benefits. I also provide superbills (monthly receipts) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
My fee is $285 per session. I do offer a limited number of sliding scale spots
A Good Faith Estimate is a document that explains the expected costs of your therapy services. Under the No Surprises Act, all healthcare providers are required to give clients who are not using insurance an estimate of the total cost of care. This helps you understand what you may need to pay out of pocket before you begin therapy.
Your Good Faith Estimate will include the fees for each session, how often sessions are expected to take place, and the projected cost over the course of a year. It’s important to know that this is only an estimate — the actual number of sessions you need may be more or less, depending on your progress and goals in therapy.
The Good Faith Estimate is provided in writing and is designed to ensure transparency and help you plan for your care without surprise bills.
The first step is simple: schedule your complimentary consultation. We’ll talk about what brings you here, what you’d like to work on, and how therapy can support your goals. From there, we’ll decide together on the next steps.
